घटना :- 11 अगस्त 2020 को एक भारतीय राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस के राज्य विधायक अखंड श्रीनिवास मूर्ति के भतीजे ने कथित तौर पर फेसबुक पर अपमानजनक टिप्पणी पोस्ट की जिसमें इस्लामिक नबी मुहम्मद को निशाना बनाया गया। यह पोस्ट इलाके में वायरल हो गया और लोग विरोध में आरोपी को गिरफ्तार करने की मांग करते हुए विधायक के आवास के सामने इकट्ठा होने लगे। जिसके बाद सैकड़ों लोग सोशल मीडिया संदेश के लिए जिम्मेदार लोगों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की मांग करते हुए, पुलिस स्टेशन के आसपास इकट्ठा होने लगे। विरोध प्रदर्शनकर्ता जिसमें लाठी, पेट्रोल और केरोसिन के डिब्बे से लैस लोग शामिल हो गए। इस भीड़ ने पत्थर फेंकना शुरू कर दिया, विधायक निवास में तोड़फोड़ की और अंततः संपत्ति में आग लगा दी। हमले के समय विधायक और उनका परिवार निवास के अंदर मौजूद नहीं थे। इस बीच, पुलिस ने स्थानीय समुदाय के सदस्यों सहायता […]
